Product Description:
Optimize your fertilizer pelletizing process with our robust and versatile Pan Granulator, also known as a Disc Pelletizer. This machine efficiently transforms powder materials into uniform, spherical fertilizer granules, ideal for both organic and compound fertilizer production. Available with 1-3 meter diameter discs, our granulators offer customizable capacity and are designed for reliable, long-lasting performance. Achieve high granulation rates (over 93%) and produce granules within a controlled size range (typically 1-8mm), ensuring consistent nutrient delivery and improved handling.
Features:
Multiple Material Compatibility: Can process a wide range of fertilizer materials, including organic fertilizers (chicken manure, cow manure, pig manure), biogas residue, compost, NPK compound fertilizers, bentonite, and other mineral waste.
High Granulation Rate: Achieves a high granulation rate (typically exceeding 93%), maximizing fertilizer yield and minimizing waste.
Adjustable Particle Size: Produces fertilizer granules within a controllable particle size range (typically 1-8 mm) to meet the needs of different applications. Adjustable disc inclination and speed allow for precise control of particle size.
Durable Construction: Constructed of robust materials, the design is durable and provides long-lasting performance with minimal maintenance. The disc base is typically reinforced with multiple layers of steel plates for enhanced durability.
Efficient Wet Granulation: Using a wet granulation method, a binder (usually water or a liquid binder) is added to the powder to promote granule formation.
Three Discharge Ports: Customizable up to three discharge ports facilitates intermittent production, reducing labor intensity and improving efficiency. Customizable Options: Customizable features such as automatic feeding systems, spray devices, and scrapers enhance efficiency and control.
Wide Disc Diameter Range: Disc diameters range from 1 to 3 meters, allowing you to choose the right size based on your production needs.
Applications:
Organic Fertilizer Production: Converting animal manure, compost, and other organic waste into valuable organic fertilizer pellets .
Compound Fertilizer Production: Manufacturing granular NPK fertilizers and other compound fertilizer formulations .
Bio-Organic Fertilizer Production: Combining organic materials with beneficial microorganisms to create enhanced bio-organic fertilizer pellets .
Custom Fertilizer Blending: Creating tailored fertilizer mixes to meet specific crop and soil needs .
Other Industries: Can also be used for pelletizing materials in chemical, feed, and other industries .
Working Process:
Material Preparation: Raw materials are crushed into a fine powder (ideally around 50 mesh) for optimal granulation . The moisture content of raw materials should be between 25% and 35% for organic materials .
Feeding: The powder is continuously and quantitatively fed into the pan pelletizer via a conveyor belt or other feeding system .
Wet Granulation: A binder (typically water or a liquid adhesive) is sprayed onto the rotating disc .
Pellet Formation: The rotating disc, combined with the sprayed binder, causes the powder particles to adhere to one another, forming small pellets. The pellets gradually grow in size as they tumble within the disc . The centrifugal force, friction, and gravity within the rotating disc contribute to the pellet formation process .
Discharge: As the pellets reach the desired size, they overflow from the edge of the disc and are discharged .
Screening (Optional): The discharged pellets may be screened to separate them by size, ensuring a uniform product. Oversized and undersized particles are typically recycled back into the process .
Drying (Optional): A dryer is often used after the disc pelletizer to reduce the moisture content of the pellets for improved storage and handling .
